Today was soooooo friggin sunny in London after a long long time and the whole art department had lunch outside,on the grass,in the park under loverly sweat inducing sunshine. twas glorious,although a little parasol woulda come in handy every now an again…

I said ages ago i would try to do more painting without black outlines-so im gna do one every evening this week,spending about an hour on each one (just for the sake of keeping it fast). I started yesterday but it came out poo,cos not only was i out of my pencil/biro black outline comfort zone i was also drawing subject matter i dnt know too well..so i re-thought what i was trying to do, stared at a Tim Biskup book for 3 hours and returned to the wacom with new squiggly squoogolies ready to be digibrushed into life.

A little silly animation I did for my super talented fuzzy faced big hearted colleague and friend Sam (mr Fargalex himself). It was his birthday recently so i have done lotsa lotsa doodles of his wonderfully drawable face. I got quite a few good doodles out of doing that, so the next coupla posts are gonna be MORE OF UR FACE Fregalex!!

One thing i promised myself when starting this tumblr was to just post what i was up to art wise and not worry about how good or finished it was. I kind of forgot about that recently and started being too critical-well no more! posting rubbish will continue!
This is something ive bin thinkin would be fun to do for a while. This is a first attempt and im not quite sure where its gna take me but its gna be fun. I got myself a little digital camera which i never had and im gna start snapping alot more. Here’s to the spirit of exploration!
